Last week (Apr 13-19)
Port shipments outside China were 2.2036 million mt last week, up 26% from a week ago. Shipments by Chinese ports for exports were 2.3271 million mt, an increase of 15% on a weekly basis.

In terms of varieties,
Global port shipments of steel plate were 261,700 mt last week, up 28% week-on-week. Global port shipments of steel coil were 445,000 mt last week, up 54% week-on-week. Global port shipments of pig iron were 588,800 mt last week, down 22% week-on-week. Global port shipments of steel billets were 466,500 mt last week, up 68% week-on-week.

Arrivals at China's 119 ports under foreign trade were 621,900 mt, up 171,200 mt or 38% from a week earlier.
